What is an instance?
A single copy of Wowza Streaming Engine server software running on a single physical or virtual computer.
How is usage calculated?
On subscription plans, usage is based on the maximum number of concurrent instances in use at any given time during your bill cycle.
Is there a limit on transcoded channels?
Up to 10 concurrent transcoded channels per instance per month. Beyond that, $25 per additional channel, billed in full-month increments on the monthly high-water mark. There is no limit on source streams.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Month-to-month plans can change at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans change at the end of the 12-month period.
Can I buy an annual subscription?
Contact us for annual plans. You can add instances at any time with your existing license key, either prepaid at the annual rate or pay-as-you-go at the monthly price.
